Jason has an array of technical experience from serving time within the industry leading service providers over a range of subsea and topside professions. From projects to build Cameron’s most technologically advanced subsea production manifold to construction of gas injection platforms in Angola and onto the technical and financial project management of Transocean’s drilling riser recertification program in Africa. 

Jason brings to the table a strong relationship with key global players in the O&G Exploration Industry. Jason’s vision and passion to be number 1 is the impetus behind Vestrel’s ambitions.                                                       

Accomplished and target-orientated Financial Manager. 20 years’ accounting and financial management experience with international corporations within the Marine, Logistics and Engineering sectors, predominantly servicing the Oil and Gas sector within the African and Latin American regions.

Rene has 16 years of experience in the Maritime and Oil & Gas sectors. Having spent the earlier years of his career specializing in logistics and project management in the shipping sector, he later gravitated toward the Oil & Gas services sector and held various roles in General Management. Rene possesses a hunger for diversification and continuous growth and as such has played a critical role in Vestrel’s expansion drive since 2018, helping new upstarts within the group reach new operational regions across the globe.

During this time, he also held the role of Commercial Director for OCTG Oilfield Services Pty) Ltd., taking the company from a turnover of R10m to R29m in the space of 2 years. As the group has grown, he has effectively moved into a role heading up business development with a mandate of global expansion. Rene is a driven, multi-skilled individual who thrives under pressure.

Dale Trevor – Director of Engineering

With over 20 years of experience in high level engineering. He spent the latter 13 years of his career at Unique Hydra, where he mastered skills in design and development, project management and team leadership, ultimately culminating in the role of “Department Head of Mechanical Design”.

Dale has extensive knowledge in structural design, pressure vessel and piping design according to ASME, gas systems and machinery design, as well as product data management and engineering processes/systems and practices. Dale is a practical, systematic, determined, detail-orientated engineering manager, with many years of experience in problem solving & organizational skills.
